BUILDING ACQUISITION PUBLIC INFORMATION NIGHT
The Montessori Regional Charter School Board of Trustees invites you to attend a Public Information Night regarding the
purchase of our existing building, to be held on Tuesday, May 30th 2006 at 7:00 pm in the school
gymnasium. The Board will present a proposed Offer to Purchase the building and is interested in your feedback. The following
night the Board will officially vote on the Offer to Purchase. (The special Board Meeting will also be open to the
public.)
School Picnic and
Waldameer Day
Our annual Montessori Regional Charter
School Family Picnic will be held at the school on
Saturday, June 3rd from
11:30 – 1:00 pm. Waldameer
opens at 1:00 pm so we can head over the Park
directly after the picnic. Food will be provided
by the PTO. A Waldameer Flyer was recently sent
with ticket information. Call the school if
you did not get a copy.
Spring Fling
Over the next two weeks we will be holding our Spring
Fling, a Noon time choral concert
and lunch for parents. This concert
will replace our annual play. As those
of you that attended our play last year discovered,
we have really outgrown our gym. The Spring
Fling performances will still provide a community
experience for all of our students and parents. Please
join us on the following days:
Thursday,
April 6th NOON Parents
of K, 2nd, 4th Graders
Wednesday,
April 12th NOON Parents
of 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th Graders
We have indoor picnics planned for these special
April luncheon with hot dogs, chips, juice boxes
and checkered table clothes to cover our gym floor! (We
will also have some tables set up for those who
can’t sit comfortably on the floor). You
are welcomed to bring your own seat cushions to
make yourselves more comfortable for the picnic
and performance.

Field trip
The 4-6 graders will be going
on their annual field trip to
Pittsburgh on Friday, April 7th. They
will be visiting Fort Pitt and the Heinz History
Museum which directly corresponds to the current
curriculum of American History.
